HALO'S Story

The year was 1981 and Helge Petersen were to be found somewhere between the sky and the ground in a parachute. During the descent, he started wondering – how could his suit be wet whilst his parachute was completely dry?

With a military background in the Danish Special Forces and his many years of experience as a runner, Helge Petersen used the parachute to innovate and create a selection of products with high functionality paying special attention to comfort and details.

Back when Helge Petersen thought of the idea, the Danish Special Forces were excelling at a special jump, when entering areas where it wasn’t necessarily safe – high altitude, low opening. Several decades later, HALO pays tribute to the legacy and the founder of Newline.

The Danish Special Forces inspired HALO to take urban style and functionality to a whole nother level.
